You don't have to go to the Amazon

My oldest son and I have been wanting to go to the amazon after peacock bass. With him being in the Airforce time together has been maybe seeing each other for only a couple of days thru the year for about fourteen years. He now is stationed in North florida so we get together a little more often, so we decided to go to south Florida in search of some of the peacocks that florida has to offer. I did some research and there are about ten locations that the FWC has stocked these little fighting machine's. Locations are from West Palm south to Miami Dade. They love live bait and small top water plugs, so stocked up on bait and went south. We got there about mid morning and it was raining, we call it liquid sun shine. Fishe for the next day and a half and did pretty good. Boated 22 peacocks and three mayans and half a dozen largemouth. Here are a few pics...........hope you enjoy.
