Caught a snake

A few years ago I was bass fishing on the shore of Lake Guntersville in Alabama and I had been skunked all day, just about to head home with my dad after a long day fishing. Towards the end of the day I started getting bored and threw a big plastic worm on top of some lillys for some reason. I felt somethin bite real hard, but didn't pull anywhere. I thought it was a fish, but really had no idea. I started to reel it in to see what it was and there was a huge water moccasin hangin on to my worm. It was camoflouged with the lilly pads so it was hard to recognize what it was until I almost got it up on shore. I wanted to reel it up onto the shore but my Dad wanted to cut the line cause we didn't have any way to kill it. Anyway, just wanted to share my story. That's the craziest thing I've ever caught.
