    Default Big Crappie

Was fishing my favorite place one day several years ago. Noticed a couple of squirrels playin on the bank. Runnin around chasin one another finding Hickory nuts and the sort. Looked on the bank and there was this big huge log layin off the bank runnin down into the water. Rite on the end of next to the water was a big ole Hickory nut, the smaller of the 2 squirrels saw it and made his way down to the end and picked it up and started eating it. Cracking and peeling and knawing like heck. About that time the water next to the log exploded and this huge[ Im guessing 3 to 4 pound Crappie jumped and in one swipe took the squirrel nut and all down. I was just looking in amazment when all of sudden the big ole crappie eased real quietly back up the log and put another hickory nut on the end of the log!!!!!!

All the time that I've been using squirrel tails to make jigs I should have just used the whole squirrel.banghead
