I had trouble with mine when I first bought it. But I picked up a few pointers on here that helped.
#1- Try putting some Armorall on the shaft. It helps slick it up and water does not take it off easily.
#2- Try this (The Cane Pole Technique). When you are ready to stow it, Make sure the head is pointing straight. Put the foot pedal/hand control (which ever you use) in the MOM position with the speed wide open. Push the lever on the TM that releases it and push down on the foot pedal at the same time. It will literally drive it self out of the water.. Works great!!!
