Any Garmin handheld, very easy to use & accurate too. Some of the etrex"s are being phased out but they are great units also, prices start @$100. or $79 on sale. Garmin Map 76 units cost more but U get more things llike electronic compass etc. I have a map76 Csx & its great, keeps my Humminbird Si from always getting lost.

    Default gps

All gps mentioned here are good. I prefer the Delorme PN 40 and the Topo 7.0 map software that goes with it. Very good detail and you can download unlimited quad maps and aerial photos onto the handheld gps for $30.00 a year.
The thing a lot of folks forget is that as they get into this technology they really do want some of those bells and whistles and are stuck with a low end unit they cannot sell for what they have in it. Just a thought.
