way points and a lowrance 522i

i need some help from someone more computer literate than i. i have a file of way points, that are in a mapcreate format. and i need to load them onto my lowrance 522. a friend emailed me the waypoints, and i cannot open them on my computer since i do not have mapcreate. he told me that i could probably just load them strait to my unit. is this possible?? if so, how??

You need the coords of the way points. You might need to manually go to the coordinates on your unit and mark them there. No need for the pc other than converting the coords if that is needed.
