Thread: Fold Down Hand Control Unit

I bought a used G-3 last year that came with a standard foot control unit. I have always hated the footcontrol models but I do like one that folds down on the front of the boat. Can anyone offer advice on where to start to get the best for the least amount of buck on a fold down Hand control unit?

Only 2 games in town, Motorguide and Minn Kota. As far as where to buy, check out Foster's trolling motor New Page 1 or I've seen another reputable guy post here, but I can't for the life of me remember his name or company at the moment.

Only way I'd be interested in a hand control is if it came with a pro-kontrol handle like this Steve's Custom Props - 1st item a the top. Don't know that company, but it was the only link I could find.

Whatever you decide, go with the infinite speed control like the MK Maxxum model or the equivelent MG. No substitute for variability.
