Yep, tried it, liked it, use it, but it sure made me feel dumb after grunting to deploy all these years. Guess I had it coming......................

i threw my power drive to the bottom of weiss lake today, i was running wide open and it disengaged into the water, it busted from the housing, cracked the plastic all up, so now it sleeps with the fishes ,hated it anyways the autopilot feature sucked it never worked it would turn and go in all different directions, and the cable routing for the transducer was a pain, cant wait to get a regular trolling motor back on,

Sorry to hear that. I love my autopilot and would not have anything different now. Sometimes when my battery goes completely dead my tm starts turning in all directions and acting crazy so maybe your battery was messed up. Bottom line...can't beat V2 with autopilot!!!!!

Minn Kota leaves all warranty decisions up to the Autherized Service Center If it deploys and it breaks take it to the ACS they will Fix it under warranty as long as its under the warranty time frame 1 2 3 years which ever model it may be. I still have problems deploying the motor, but cane poles suggestion on rasing the motor is a dusey, works great, I took mine apart and didnt find the rubber bumpers ya'll was talking about.
