    I know you get what you pay for but what is your opinion on this? Craftsman Digital Clamp-On Ammeter - Model 82369 at Sears.com
    They had one on E-bay yesterday for $30 but its gone today.

    It would be good enough to measure locked rotor current.

    I revisited my robot suppliers. I may invest in a good control with current limit and be done with it instead of reinventing the wheel. By the time I get something from China, put it in a box,etc, I will piz away 100 bucks anyway.

    I have used 4qd stuff before. Good stuff.
