Hey guys, im still trying to figure out a better way of mounting my FF and ducer. As you can se in the pic the whole unit is on a mount that doent work well for my setup. Useing a canoe i want to be as moble as possible, take down and setup. Also this bracket you see has alot of drag in the water. I was looking at the portable kit for my unit "565". This way the ducer can be mounted on the TM and i can place the unit on the middle seat. Then i can get away from useing the bracket. Does the portable unit alow you to disconnet it from the transducer?
What are your thoughts?
