When I hit a wave real hard, my console really flexes. That cup holder hole is in the way. I need to stiffen this area up. Keep an eye on this. I have a Tracker PC 175.

Thats good advice.. Only put three screws in the Ram ball mount.. Think I will put the fourth one in for good measure.

    Default Ram Mount

You should really look at the RAM 109-H. I have one on a 997 and it is sturdy as a rock. Loosen the handle and it will turn any direction. I'll try to post a pic here.

I would just keep an eye on it while you are running the boat. I had that same exact mount on my 997 before I bought the 109 and I could never get it to stay in the same place. Also, the ball joints kinda worried me. Hopefully yours will work better than mine did.

For the heads up.... Seem to be happy with it after using it last evening for the first time.. The only problem is that I am looking at bottom cover/structure with the 1197 than actually fishing..
