    Default Fish Finder vs. Speed

Does anyone have any advice to offer on a dpeth/fish finder that will show graphics in real time according to speed? This i think would be more accurate when locating cover and terrain.

If you can read a flasher, that is the best...I have a Humminbird 717 and it has a flasher option on it.....If I could only read that darn thing!!!

Thanks TnT, I guess I was brought up when flashers were going out. The digital depth finders were the thing. I guess I will get a flasher and figure it out. I just joined cdc and it has already been so much help. Glad to be part of the family.

Go to this site and check out all the info. Welcome to Vexilar - Marine Electronics for Sport Fishing and Ice Fishing We use them for icefishing but they have transducers for open water fishing too.

While at the Vexilar site, take a look at the Edges - 2 is black and white and 3 is color. Supposed to have one of the fastest processors on the market.
