Default GPS maps (hot spots, navatronics)

Was thinking of purchasing the "plug and Play" lake maps for my Lowrance fish finder. Was curious to know if others have these maps and actual use them or do they end up like many other things and eventualy stop being used. And for those who do like them what do you like the most/least. Is one type any better than the other (brand wise). any help to this issue would be helpful

I have been using Navionics for several years. Had a Lowrance w/gps and then went to HB sidefinder and got the new Navionics. They work well for me. I have even been on new lakes and got desperate enough to use the hot spots. That has also worked well.
