    Default Eagle 480, 320 or HB 565

I need to replace 2 ancient sonar units. I am looking at the Eagle 480,320 and the HB 565. Any thoughts or things to look out for?

I have an Eagle 480 up front and love it, my back unit is an old Eagle Ultra, no comparison. Don't know anything about HB.

We have an Eagle 320. It wasn't too pricey, and it's a very basic unit. It meets our needs, but never once have I thought that it helped us catch a bunch more fish. I don't know if other sonars do this, too, but the transducer emits an audible clicking noise sometimes.

I think a lot of transducers emit a clicking sound.

Got two 480s, and so far, satisifed. Had two 320s, and they powered up and powered down by themselves. You can't beat the 480 for clarity, price, and being user-friendly. And yeah, the ping "click" sound is just part of the way it works.

I have a 525 on my console and a 565 up front on the trolling motor and I really like the 565 but don't have any experince with the eagles. The 500 series graphs all use the same transducer so switching positions with the heads is real quick and easy.
