Default Newbie GPS Waypoint Mapping Question

I have what may be a very basic question, but I don't know the answer to it. I have an Eagle 640c on my boat, and I have the Navionics Hotmaps 2007 chip for it. With it, I get super detail of my home lakes (Russell, Hartwell, and Clarks Hill). So here is my question.

I enjoy spending time sitting in the boat looking at the ultra detailed maps on my display screen, and I scroll around and mark potential places to fish on a future visit, by with the 5" screen and my old eyes, it is very hard to read the contour line depths. What I'd like to know is...does a program exist that would allow me to see the same map on my computer screen? A 19" screen with contours would be so, so much easier to view. I would love to be able to sit in the comfort of my home office and examine the lake bottom at my leisure. If something like this doesn't exist for the Navionics but does for the Fishing Hot Spots map chip, I would be willing to buy that one also.

Perhaps this can't be done, but if not, somebody ought to make a way to do it! I eagerly await your replies.

    Best wishes,

    William

I can view my Fishing Hot Spots Elite card but it has to be done using Lowrances Map Create program. There might be another way but I'm not aware of it.I
