    Default Got copilot working, however

Greased the connectors. Changed battery in remote. Reset co-pilot. It worked.

However, I noticed some corrosion on the TM power plug. I had just cleaned and greased the power connectors in April. Prob the cheap connector plug that came with the Tracker. Female plug I got at Wal Mart still shiny. I don't know the material the large pins are made from (with, of), but it sure nuf ain't gold (flash).

I just wonder if this nasty connector is not the root of the evil doings?

Tom, use this type plug. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st...=SearchResults They lock in place and are waterproof. I've never had a corrosion problem with one.

I was resetting the co-pilot. I don't believe the autopilot is resettable unless you unplug power to the unit.

A few things that can cause that outside of a bad compass (mounted on the circuit board) is low voltage, shaft is not with 5° of verticle, or it needs re-calibrating. If you are handy with a VOM, I have the instructions for doing that somewhere.

I would love to get the instructions for re-calibrating...I wouldn't think it's the 5 degree thing since I haven't had this kind of trouble before....I'm hoping it isn't a bad compass!!!

The connector just arrived. Looks good. I like the O-ring seal.
