    Default Navplanner by Navionics

Worth the 129.00 bucks or not. Opinions being sought here. Mostly interested in ease of use.

I would use primarily to plan fishing trips for vacations and other home state lakes that I am not that familiar with.

For those of you that may not know what this is. The Navplanner is a software and card reader package that enables you to view your Navionics chip on your PC.

Is that the truth what they say about putting your card in a PC? Will it self destruct as they say it will?
Has anyone had the guts to try it?
    Quite frankly,,,,, I don't.:D

I have stumbled on something that may be better option than the navionics navplannner.
It is a dvd with most major lakes in the usa depicted. it was 19.95 + 6.95 shipping. I ordered it and will give appraisal when I get it.

It sounded like the answer for what I am looking for. Being able to view a lake that I want to vacation at. Sure would save money in the long run. As i would not have to order a paper map for every lake I thought about trying.
