    Default Garmin 72 GPS fix is ready !!


    Garmin just updated the 72 software . I use the web updater.http://www8.garmin.com/products/webu...wtoinstall.jsp . Install the updater and plug in the 72 to the pc and turn the unit on and follow the instructions. The update seems to work so far.

    Thanks just updated mine. Thursday mine would be showing me 100 ft from a waypoint. But the Humminbird was right on it. And the depthfinder was showing the brushpile under me. Hope this fixes that also. First time Its bee off like that.

    I have a mac and it has no series port so I took mine down to where my granddaughter's boyfriend works after my cable came in and he updated mine and I enabled WAAS and drove the 14 miles home and it works as far as I can tell, will try it out on the water in the morning.
