    Default No Left, No Right

I was out yesterday morning in the 20+ wind and rain, when my Minn Kota Power Drive trolling motor foot control wouldn't turn the motor to the left. I manually turned the head left when needed, and foot controlled when going right. Then it wouldn't turn right or left. Do you think the foot control went bad from getting wet? Also by manually turning the head, do you think the motor that turns the trolling motor is broke? How can I find out if its just the foot control myself, without a trip to the dealer? Thanks for any help.

Its probably the foot control went bad. Can you borrow one just long enough to verify it?

    Default Turn

Mine does that once in a while. Wiggle the plug where the foot control plugs into the motor with the left turn pushed down. Cures mine.
