Thread: TM direction arrow is not right

If I go perfectly straight the arrow points straight left. The picture attached is from my vantage point with the boat going in a straight line..yet look at the arrow...it pointing straight left. I put a lot of thought into a solution. I kept referring back to the picture and then finally figured out what the problem is. I hate to tell you this, but your problem is that your TM is a Motorguide. Buy a Minn Kota and you won't have any problems like this.


Just kidding of course. Sounds like others have solutions that will work, but you asked a good question. How did it get out of whack to start with? Has anyone contacted Motorguide to see what they say?

Well I have determined that you just cant grab onto it and force it back into place....it wont budge. So I guess Im going to have to take the head off and see what mess that gets me into.
