    Default Need some help with my Fish finder


    I have a Eagle Cuda 242. I used it for the 1st time the other day. It worked fine for a while then it went crazy it quite reading the bottom and started flashing the depth of 54.8 feet in about 4 foot of water. Does any one have any ideas on what could be causing this problem? Does any one have one of these model or had a problem like this before? Thanks everyone

    How is the transducer mounted? Did you have it on auto-range or manual?

    Auto-range and I had it portable mount trying to see if it's going to work before I screwed it to the boat.
