if you have degrees, min ,sec selected in setup, you must enter the new data in this location format. Data entered in any other form other than that select in setup will be wrong (off target). You can usually tell by the number of digits the coordinates have what the location format is.

Yep. Everything gotta be done in the advanced mode. Can't do much of nothing in the normal mode (if there is such a thing as normal).

If the waypoints are on a Lowrance unit and you can export them out on a SD card, you can download a program (Humminbird PC) and it will automatically convert them for you. Then save them back on the card and insert the card into the Humminbird unit and it will automatically download them into the Humminbird. The instruction are listed on Humminbird.com. I also have a copy. If anyone needs them just email and I will be glad to shoot you a copy of it.

When I put them in I just hit the waypoint button and then "create" and then i just put the numbers in with the arrow pad. Seemed simple to me. After reading what you guys said though maybe these arent going to match up when i get to the lake? What do you think? They look like they are right on the map when I zoom to the lake.
