NO, I'll keep mine. I haven't had any problems except the transducer rooster tail.
My wife even saw the bill for it and didn't say a word.

You would get my gun before the SI unit. Mark even though mine is the old model. Would still not take my $$ back for it.
And when this ones bites the dust. There will be one replacing it. Mark you need to get with me at Harrison Bay if I can make the trip and see it for your self.

Not a chance I'd get rid of my 797. I love that thing more every time I go out. I don't know that I'd spend the money on a 997 or an 1197, but I don't feel like I need the bigger unit. With the software that's out there, I can come home and watch my scans on my 19" LCD and still mark the spots.

Aside from buying a boat, it's easily the best money I've spent. You'll love it.

Not one single problem here. This is the best investment in fishing I've ever made. Can't imagine going fishing without it now. My fishing buddy and I used to take turns going in each others boat. Since I bought my 997 his boat is collecting dust. He's hooked and will be making a purchase in the very near future.
