    Question Double pole double throw.

Does any of you know how to hook two double pole double throw switches together.

I can only use my electric anchor from the back of the boat. I'm going to try and wire another switch up front and not too sure about how to go about it.

I numbered the lugs on the new switch for making it easier to explain the process if you can.

    Any help?
    Thanks.

Wire the two switches exactly the same. It should be wired just like a trim switch are so both switches can perform all functions.

Your 12V power should go to the front switch too, then the output wires from the new switch just splice into the existing output wires for the old switch. Doesn't have to be spliced at the switch thou. You can tap in wherever it's easiest.

I'd also add that you should tap your 12V after the fuse for the anchor system so the fuse protects the new wiring.

    Ok, thanks CatFan.
I thought that would be the way to do it. I just don't know about back feeding the other switch.
