    Default Handheld GPS and HB 777C Question


    Question: If I connect a Lowrance handheld GPS with Navonics lake maps to my HB 777c, will the maps show on the HB unit or just on my Lowrance H2O?

    I,m kicking myself now for not buying a HB unit with GPS. The 777c is GPS ready but now I wish I bought a unit where I could plug SD cards into it.

    I'm hoping if I buy a handheld unit and a cable to plug into my 777c I will have the capability of using SD cards with lake maps. Being able to view maps on the 777c would be nice since my eye site is not getting any better these days.

    No, maps aren't shared over the NMEA interfaces.
