    I am new to crappie fishing and have never used electronics to find fish. I want to put a fish finder on the front of my boat can you give me any suggestions. All help will be appreciated.

    What's your price range? A Humminbird 565 would be a good unit. If you are going to use it to locate fish you may want to consider getting Fish/Gps unit. This way you can mark structure you find and go back to it.

    I have the HB 787c and it is a great unit. Depends on what you feel comfortable spending.

    you can get a bracket that go on your trolling motor that holds the transdsor if you give more info on what you are wanting to do you can get more help

    isnt 787 a side finder will it work on your trolling motor. I would like to spend less than 1000

    The 787 fishfinder gps with downward looking sonar. We do offer a 797 fishfinder gps with side imaging technology. The retal price on it is 999.99.

    Either unit can be mounted on the trolling motor.

    Eagle Cuda is hard to beat. $69.95 and it never breaks down. :D
