    Default Question for side image unit owners


    What would it take for you to give up your side image unit and go back to a regular depth finder?

    For me, all it would take is a special pair of glasses that allowed me to see clearly under the surface of the water for at least 200 feet. Anything short of that and it is no deal.:p

    Never go back. Next generation, SI with WIFI. I wish Humminbird saw things my way.....But then, they would be in the hole all the time from developing things. I don't care too much about sales.......

    If someone would give more money than I payed for my 997.Then I would go back to my old unit, until my new 1197 came in. LOL
    I will never give up my side image unit!!!
