    when you buy the gps unit and get familiar with it, take some brush piles to your favorite fishing spot and drop them, mark them on your gps, and post all the cords here so you won't lose them. then you can go right back to them every time. Crappie.com never deletes these threads and your cords will be safe. Happy fishing.

    Thanks for the helpful information. What brand/model of gps/sonar units do you use for crappie fishing?
