Thread: 797 question

Guys,

I'm looking to get one of these, however according to the guy behind the counter at Cabelas the transducer is very big and would be tough to get on your trolling motor.

A couple of questions:

1. can you use two transducers? I would put the large main transducer on the back and use it if I wanted to use the side imaging option, and use the universal sonar in my trolling motor for the other options.

2. for all you guys that have one, are you happy with it?

We work very closely with Cabelas and doing yearly training with them. However, there is a lot of information for them absorb so I guess I will forgive them this time.
We have a Compact Side Imaging Trolling Motor transducer to use with your 797. It is the XTM 9 SI 180 T. We have a transducer exchange program so you can trade in your transom transducer.
