Thread: Side image

I have been thinking about biting the bullet and buying one but I see so many question on here about them. Are they that hard to learn how to use? I am not dumb but I am no Einstine either.

Not all that hard to learn. Just a matter of going out with the manual a couple times with the idea of just to use the unit. Play with it, change settings. I guarantee it don't bite. Its just the DVD or book can be used at home.
You can play with it instead of an emulator. If its too cold where your at to play with it in the boat, I picked up the PC kit and snipped off the two 9V connectors and put on a line fuse and female spad connectors. They slip on the tabs of the 7.5amp hour batteries like it was made for it. You can sit and play with it for a couple hours at a time then. To me, better than using an emulator.
