I got my 997 up and running and had it on the lake .I do have a problem with the position of the transducer. There is no good place to mount it. I’ve looked at all the pics on yahoo I’ll be going over to a pro staffer’s house next week to get a bracket made. He had the same problem. I’m real impressed with the unit. Side imaging works great. I think I’ll be happy with the sonar and the ease of use is awesome. Thanks for all the help and advise
