    John,

    If you go into the settings on the 997, it has an area where you can turn on screen captures. You must have a blank SD card installed in the second slot in the 997. Once you've done that, you just hit the "Mark" button and it saves the images to your card.

    pstone, I have not been fishing since June 1st. However, I have gone to the lake several times so I could play with my 997. Come November, I will have to quit playing with this thing and start fishing again. lol

    Sounds like we are in the same boat.
    8 weeks ago yesterday and not been out fishing. I know this back has to get better some time. Or I will run out of morphine ..

    Couple of things to remember. The first thing is to look at your transducer mounting and make sure or transducer is mounted straight with the boat setting in the water. The other thing is on our scroll speed is to set it the same as your trolling speed or your idling speed.
