I have 1 set up as a portable. I can use in my big boat, kayak, and even on fishing dock by just switching out main pvc pole length.
I’ve utilized a Magellan bait cooler (19qt) that is large enough to accommodate my battery, black box, and all the wires cables. Some ram suction mounts to keep from drilling holes and very portable.
Probably not for everyone but really suit my portable needs.
