I think any mount that raises the screen more than 23" is just going to get in the way. My Cumberland Crappie mount will extend to that height, but I never raise it above the lowest height (~12"). I have to look at the top of the trolling motor to know where the tdx is pointing, so I know which direction to flip my jigs, all while watching the screen to make sure I keep the cover/fish on the screen and watch for my jigs to fall in their direction. Now ... I am sitting while I'm fishing this way, so the screen & trolling motor directional arrow are in view at the same time.
Here's a tip that might help save your neck .......... lower your eyes, not your whole head.
