As far as the "dots" on the screen ... they "may" be fish. I always used the blue pallet coloration, so fish on my screen were always white dots.

From the picture it looks like you have some other setting other than just Down Image on your Hook. I don't remember individual depth markings on "fish" with just the straight Down Image setting. That's with "Fish ID" turned on and would likely only occur if 2d sonar is being used (& not DI) or you have the 2d Overlay setting on your unit (combination of 2d and DI screen info).
I guess what I’m saying is if there is that many fish under boat I just need a dip net and I would have a limit. Lol.. the gps, depth ,speed everything else works fine.. I just don’t understand what I’m looking at.. it shows fish and different size fish at different depths but I can honestly say I’ve never caught one using it..I mean I don’t understand how it can pick up fish going 10mph and then go 35 and the fish on screen don’t move with the speed of boat.. it all seems crazy to me and it drives me crazy.. cause I know the crappie are out in the middle of Kissimmee and I can’t find them.. but when they move into pads it is on ..thank you very much for your help.

Everything you see on the screen (at any speed) is just "history", except for what is coming up on the far right edge of the screen. That's what the sonar ping is "seeing" at that moment.

If the fish were going as fast as the boat and staying in the Down Image ping .... they'd show up as a straight line across the screen.

Now, as far as seeing all those potential "fish", and not catching any of them .... remember, your depth finder is only a tool to show you what's within the ping of the sonar. It's not going to make them bite, or jump in the boat, just because you found out where they are. Believe me, Livescope has taught me that and humbled me in the process.

I took several screenshots on my old E5DSI, and showed you most of them. But, to be honest, I don't remember catching any of the fish shown in those pics. So don't feel bad about not catching what you see, just keep using your Hook to locate the cover and the fish (that's all they're designed for) .... you will eventually understand more about what you're seeing, and how to react with the proper method to lure them into biting your offerings.

    Luck2ya in your adventures !!
