I got my upgraded Mega Live and my new Target Lockout today. I was super impressed with the picture on my bow Helix 12. The clarity and ability to see my jig rivals my 126sv Livescope. I locked the Target Lock onto a stakebed in 15fow and moved around with my Ultrex. It tracked extremely close and after a 180% pass around the bed, I only needed to bump it to the side to line back up perfectly. It worked as good on SpotLock. That’s the good.

The really bad was any time I went to make adjustments to my Target Lock settings, my Helix would lock up! NOTHING!! Had to unplug it on the back of the unit to even get it turned off. Once I would restart it, I would have to go back thru the calibrations and pairing on the Target Lock head and my remote. I went thru this and a couple of things Rickie recommended about 5/6 times. This will not work! Period!! I am a true Humminbird guy but won’t go thru much of this crap before it all goes back in the box! Supposedly a new upgrade is in the works and I’m normally very slow to upgrade and let others work out the bugs.

Rickie and I were on the phone during this and he’s as puzzled as I am.
