I just like the idea of sitting in my chair and watching 4-8 rods in the front while watching my Active Target screen. Any input from those that like to do this is appreciated. I have not tight lined much in the past, only long line or single pole. I assume tight lining is better for summer and winter deeper water and moving slow, and over brush.
When all l did was spider rig and long lining l ran LS on a pole with an additional unit on bow to run side scan which gives the ability to look for bait balls and fish off to the side where you can turn and go after those targets. It increased my catch rate for time spent on the water.
I went to single pole fishing 3 years ago now.
