My experience has been that about 10 years ago i bought a 2 bank Pro Mariner for a 17’ Key West.
After a couple years i had some corrosion issues on a few of the in line fuses.
I called the company, talked with a rep, and he sent me enough new fuse holders to replace all of them.
After about 6 years i had other issues, and called them again.
This time i was told to replace the charger.
Then the guy offered to sell me a new one direct at a discount since i was already a customer.
A few days later it arrived and is still on the boat.
About 3 years ago i bought a new aluminum jon boat, and i went online and bought another 2 bank Pro Mariner.
The leads werent long enough to reach one of the batteries, so i called them again asking about extending one of the leads.
Dont do that i was told or you will violate the warranty.
So they sold me a 10’ extension set of wires which i paid for with a credit card.
When they came i finished the installation.
About 10 months later, i had a failure, so i called them again.
I told them them what the issue was and the guy asked for the serial number of the unit.
He then told me that the unit was over a year old and they wouldnt stand behind it.
I told him that i could verify the date i had bought it online, also asked that he look up the date of the purchase of the cable extension required to hook it up.
Nothing worked, the date it was made was all that mattered, and they didnt offer to sell me a new one at a discount.
I was a bit ticked to say the least, and told him i would buy a different product before buying another of theirs.
Next day i went to Academy Sports, and bought a Minn Kota 2 bank which was a bit cheaper in price than a Pro Mariner.
But i did reuse the Pro Mariner cable extension. lol
