While hooking up the HB mega 360 it has a drain/shield wire in addition tot the ground. My power source is a small 46AH Duracell AGM that also powers my LS black box and Garmin 1022. The HB helix 10 G3N is powered off main battery.

For my upfront AGM battery I have the positive going to a switch and then into a small fuze panel where I connect the equipment. Ground goes to buss on fuze panel.
Should I have a ground running from the negative post of the battery to somewhere on the hull?
