Mine is a only for used for Livescope. Three other units on boat all dedicated for other uses. Also Active Captain app is not compatible with some of the other units.
Thinking about going with a bigger unit in the near future.
Hope you have a Spot Lock Trolling motor as well because boat control is especially important using Livescope.

Are you fishing deep water ? Reason for asking is that when spotlock kicks on the crappie scatter like we threw a concrete block out of the boat . What trolling motor are you running as that may be the difference .
