Its time to upgrade from my Lowrance HDS Gen 1 electronics on my boat. I have the 8 and the 7 networked and they have served me well but its time to change.

Im going with the Garmin Echomap/live scope. My question is do I need to go with the 10 or 12" Ultra or can I get by with the 9" SV UHD on the live scope?

I'm trying to stay under $4k and would like to have two units with one having the live scope. Any advice will be appreciated
