Thread: Berley Pro visor for 93sv

Just got my visor in for my Garmin 93sv and I cannot get it to fit in the cradle anymore. It acts like it's in there but you can easily just push it right out. Did anyone else run into this and have to do any kind of modifications? I really didn't want to start cutting into this especially when you pay $60 for a piece of plastic.

The screws in the bottom holding on the visor tend to interfere with the fit at the lower edge of the mount. I wondered why they were so small (4-40 IIRC), and I discovered that anything bigger keep the unit from fully seating, and it won't snap in properly. I ended up notching the mount in 2 places where the visor screws & nuts poke out, so the nuts wouldn't prevent it from fully seating. HTH YMMV
