i would expect that answer from Amped Outdoors as when the first offered batteries, they had a built in meter at the top of their batteries. Using the phone app that comes with my Ionic batteries, showing all the info of the usage of my batteries over the past 3 months if fishing,,after 3-4 outings running them down to about 25%,,I charge them,,phone app or meter would show only having used 4 cycles of 100% charging so far, my electronic battery shows 6 cycles now. I get 5-7 hrs of usage each time fishing and don’t charge until they have been run down to 20-25% power left in them. The batteries will outlive me with me being age 70. Good lithium battery maintenance will extend and protect your investment. I was going to buy the Ampeds but they discontinued the meter. WayneP, a HB guru, in bbc forum metered his batteries as he bought the Ampeds and saved quite a bit of money. Nothing wrong with the Ampeds at all. But I would think you would want to know when your going to run out of battery power as when they die..they die with no notification, just like a lithium drill battery. I am running my starting big boat motor off a lithium also, so I need to keep a eye on the battery power. Just my 2 cents.
