Hey all.....
I know this probably been asked and answered just havent looked thru the threads here.
I have a helix 7 DI/GPS and an older 998 fish finder. Both units have navionics map cards in them
I have downloaded some of the brush pile marker coordinates and was wanting to upload to my units and I have a few questions......
1. When trying to upload data to helix last night it said didnt have enough free space to do so? I didnt think that it took that much space for waypoints? Did I do something wrong?
2. Do i need to remove navionics card from 998 since it has 2 card slots?
3. Once I download waypoints onto card and insert it, can I leave that card inserted so i can record etc or does it need to be removed?
4. On the helix I tried looking for waypoints on map for lake close to house and nothing......so when i go to menu to use navionics fish and chip will that affect the waypoint downloaded?
Sorry for so much questions....i appreciate your help and time
Tom
