Recently bought garmin 7sv, I've got my screen mounted on a ram mount at console. I started to mount my transducer on the back of my hull, and using the supplied template, I don't have enough room to my new ducer where the old one was because of the step in my hull. I have room more over towards the center but am not sure if it would cause turbulence readings. Best place to mount it?
