You will never miss finding a bed 3 or 4 feet one way or another and having to hunt for it. You can see it. 360 is ideal for a soft bottom. Hard bottom is more challenging for sure. If you fish a real hard bottom, I'm not sure you will like it.
Southern and Central Indiana is mostly all soft bottom, 9 inch Mega screen for now, may pick up a larger, but I have 2 up front and 2 on the back for units. I fish mostly crappie and gills and once/twice a year walleyes occassionally.
