How much did they charge for the repair?
HaHa: 0
I broke a pin on the transducer post on the back of my Garmin 7 sv last weekend. Called Garmin Monday morning. The unit is over a year old so I had to pay for the repair.( I'm ok with that). New unit showed up today with all the wiring (new) and a new transducer. I was just expecting the unit. It was snowing here so I haven't plugged it in yet to see how it works. I am impressed with the fast turn around. Customer service people have been friendly and helpful. Last year by now I had kept 89 crappie. This year 0. It needs to warm up a bit.

Their customer is very good.
Always been very satisfied with their service. I can't remember off-hand what their rates are, but one of the reasons I went with Garmin was their 'flat-rte' repair pricing for as long as parts are available. Popular units should have bigger parts pipelines, therefore longer repair of units. I tend to keep things for as long as possible and after experiences with other companies and the prices for repairs (if they would even consider such), I favored this one. If memory serves my 93sv chirp has a flat-rate out of warranty fee of $175 ish. Just something else to consider
