    Default 5 port ethernet

Well just hooked up 999 , 360 and ultrex with ipliot to 5 port ethernet switch. The 999 is not reconizing any of it. I have power to 5 port and all connections are tight. Was wondering if there is something I need to do with the 999 to recognize 5 port hub? Last update on 999 is. 7.650 any help would be greatly appreciate

I’m guessing that you went into the ethernet settings in the 999 and looked around?

Yes it is - do you have the latest software installed for your 999?

    999ci HD SI Combo v7.790

If not, you may have to update the unit.

It is updated to 7.650 not the newest version I Will try that. Also do I need to save all waypoints on another sd card before restoring to factory defaults before I update? . I know they say to restore to default before updating. Just don't want to go to Walmart to get another sd card. Guess I would rather be safe than sorry I better go get another sd card first. Will I have to reprogram new sd card to transfer waypoints to it???

    Agreed.
You should always save a copy and keep a spare on at least one computer or SD Card.

You can export all your NAV data to the same SD Card, it will go in a "Matrix" folder and the update is a ".BIN" file that you just copy to the card, no folder.

Thant can be removed after the update completes - SD Cards are cheap too.
