I recently had a WalMart Ever Start cranking battery go bad (Series 24). I went to get it replaced and told the clerk I wanted to upgrade to Series 27. He then showed me the Series 24 they carry has 1000 cold crank amps and the Series 27 had 750. I stayed with the 24 for my cranking battery.
