    Default Helix 9 Transducers

I have a gen 1 Helix 9 SI/GPS. The transducer my unit came with is a 200/83/455khz. Can I use the XHS 9 HDSI transducer to get 800khz frequency?

    Absolutely ...

Change the Connected Transducer selection to "Hi-Def SideScan" to get the 800kHz frequency selection ...

BTW... You can actually change the Connected Transducer selection to "Hi-Def SideScan" and get the 800kHz frequency selection with the compact SI xducer attached to the HELIX 9 ...

But the XHS 9 HDSI 180 T will give better 800kHz because the XNT 9 SI 180 T is not really tuned for the 800kHz ...

Oh cool, I'll have to try that.

XHS 9 HDSI 180 T transducer is the best upgrade option correct?

    Unfortunately no cuzzin ...

The HELIX Sonar models don't have any SI transmitters in the head unit ...
    -----

It is possible to display SI on the HELIX Sonar models when the Sonar model is Ethernet connected to x99 or newer SI unit ...
